A feeling of lightness
Many clients describe less heaviness afterwards, especially in the legs.
Body · Lymphatic & Wellness
A gentle, restorative treatment designed to support lymphatic circulation and promote a feeling of lightness and relaxation.
Lymphatic drainage massage is a manual technique of slow, light and rhythmic strokes. The hands follow the direction of the lymphatic pathways, gently guiding fluid towards the lymph nodes.
The lymphatic system has no pump of its own. It relies on movement, breathing and the soft contractions of its own vessels. This treatment works with that natural rhythm, which is why it feels so different from a classic massage: quieter, slower and remarkably calming.
| Lymphatic drainage | Classic or deep-tissue massage | |
|---|---|---|
| Pressure | Very light, at skin level | Medium to firm, into the muscles |
| Rhythm | Slow, repetitive, wave-like | Varied, with kneading and friction |
| Direction | Follows the lymphatic pathways | Follows the muscles |
| Focus | Lightness and deep relaxation | Releasing muscle tension |
What clients often notice. Every body responds differently, so we describe possible effects rather than promise results.
Many clients describe less heaviness afterwards, especially in the legs.
It may temporarily soften the look of fluid retention, for example after a flight or a long day on your feet.
The slow, even rhythm invites the body to slow down. Some clients drift off during the session.
The skin often feels softer and more even to the touch after the treatment.

An hour without effort, in a quiet room, at a pace set entirely around you.
Is it right for you?
Lymphatic drainage may suit you when:
This is a wellness treatment, not a medical therapy. For lymphoedema or another diagnosed condition, a specialised medical lymph therapist is the right person to see.
At the studio
One unhurried hour, shaped around you from the first conversation to the advice you take home.
We talk about your wishes and anything we should know about your health, and check that the treatment suits you today.
You change in private and get comfortable on the treatment table. Only the area being treated is uncovered.
Sixty minutes of slow, rhythmic strokes along the lymphatic pathways. Pressure and focus areas are adapted to you.
A glass of water, advice for the rest of the day and, if you wish, a suggestion for how often to return.
Practical
The pressure is always light, and we adjust the pace and focus areas to you. You can ask for a lighter touch or a different focus at any moment.
Questions
A manual massage technique with slow, light, rhythmic strokes that follow the direction of the lymphatic pathways. Its aim is to support the natural flow of lymph and to bring a feeling of lightness and relaxation.
No. The pressure is very light and most clients find it deeply relaxing. If anything feels uncomfortable, tell us and we adjust straight away.
That depends on your goals. Some clients come for an occasional moment of rest, others book a short series of sessions close together and then continue less often. After your first visit we give you a personal suggestion.
Most clients feel light and relaxed, sometimes a little sleepy. Some notice they need the bathroom more often. Drink water, keep the rest of the day calm and enjoy light movement such as a walk.
Please always tell us if you are pregnant. Lymphatic drainage during pregnancy should only take place after you have checked with your midwife or doctor, and we discuss your situation with you before booking.
Lymphatic drainage is not suitable if you have a fever or acute infection, thrombosis, heart or kidney problems with fluid retention, active cancer or ongoing cancer treatment, acute inflammation or open wounds in the area, or have recently had surgery. If you have a medical condition or take medication, check with your doctor first.
