Radio frequency

Gentle, controlled warming of the skin with a gliding applicator, for a smoother-looking, firmer-feeling surface.

Radio frequency (RF) uses electromagnetic energy to gently warm the deeper layers of the skin. A conductive gel is applied and an applicator glides over the area in slow, continuous movements.

Most clients compare the sensation to a hot-stone massage. At ICONIC we use RF on a chosen zone, on its own or as part of our ICONIC Sculpt formats, always combined with attention to your comfort.

Is it right for you?

Who is
it for?

  • You enjoy warm, comfortable treatments.
  • You want a non-invasive technology without downtime.

Questions

Frequently
asked

What is radio frequency?

A technology that uses radio-frequency energy to gently warm the deeper layers of the skin, applied with a gliding applicator and conductive gel.

Does it hurt?

No. Most clients find it comfortable and compare it to a hot-stone massage. We adjust the heat to you.

How many sessions do I need?

RF is usually done as a series. How many depends on your goals; we advise you after a first consultation.

Is there downtime?

No. Slight redness can occur and normally fades within an hour.

Can I book RF on its own?

Yes, and it is also part of ICONIC Sculpt and ICONIC Sculpt PRO. Prices for a separate session will be confirmed.

Are there any contraindications?

RF is not suitable with a pacemaker or other electronic implant, metal implants in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a fever or acute infection, thrombosis, open wounds or skin inflammation in the area, recent surgery, active cancer or ongoing cancer treatment, or reduced sensitivity to heat. If in doubt, check with your doctor first.
