Vacuum therapy is a massage technique using cups connected to a device that creates controlled suction. The cups lift the skin and tissue and are moved over lightly oiled skin in long, rolling strokes.
It combines a lifting, rolling movement with the rhythm of massage. At ICONIC we use it on the legs, glutes and waist, often as part of Legs Sculpt and ICONIC Sculpt.

We start at a low setting and increase only as far as is comfortable. Tell us at any moment and we adjust.
How to prepare
- Drink enough water on the day of your session.
- Avoid a heavy meal just before your session.
- Avoid sunburn on the area.
- Tell us about varicose veins, blood thinners, easy bruising or pregnancy when you book.

What is vacuum therapy?

Does it hurt?
It feels intense on some areas, but it should not hurt. The suction is always set to your comfort.
Can I get bruises?
Mild redness is normal. If you bruise easily or take blood thinners, tell us beforehand.

Can I book it on its own?
It is part of Legs Sculpt and ICONIC Sculpt. Prices for a separate session will be confirmed.
Are there any contraindications?
Vacuum therapy is not suitable with pregnancy or breastfeeding, a fever or acute infection, thrombosis, open wounds or skin inflammation in the area, recent surgery, active cancer or ongoing cancer treatment, varicose veins in the area, easy bruising or blood thinners, or fragile skin. If in doubt, check with your doctor first.
